My love affair with events began in 2008. I was a Marketing Officer at a local bank and was asked to chair a black-tie event that benefited education in Williamson County, TN. I spent a year planning The Magic of Moulin Rouge and when the day arrived, it was everything I had anticipated and more! Guests were transported to the streets of Paris complete with roaming performers, a martini slide, can-can dancers, a diamond give-away and a late-night crepe station.
A couple of years later, I was offered a job as the Special Events Coordinator at Carnton Plantation. What a dream! Not only was I a history minor (and the Civil War happened to be one of my favorite eras), but I also had the opportunity to oversee weddings and plan fundraisers. In my 3 ½ years at Carnton, I was a part of over 125 weddings and got to know some of Nashville’s best vendors.
After a lot of encouragement from one of my bride’s mothers, I decided to launch my own event planning business in 2014. Events, especially weddings, make my heart happy! They are what I am most passionate about! I love using my creativity and organizational skills to make all of the important details come to life.
